Biography

The biography for David, Glen Brandle. I was born in Edmonton Alberta, my parents were Melvin Brandle and Bernadette Lavoie, my first name comes from my fathers middle name, my middle name comes from my fathers brother Glen. In my first couple years of life my family relocated to the lower mainland of Vancouver B.C. where I have resided to date. My family adopted my brother Mark from a family in Abbotsford B.C. In 1970, we lived as a family until my parents divorced when I was approximately 6 years old, my mother moved out of the household and assumed custody of my brother Mark, I continued to reside with my father until his death in 1981 after a two year battle with brain cancer. My life took a dramatic change in residence, school, and city of Coquitlam B.C. when I relocated living with my mother, brother and my alcoholic step father. This next phase of my life was very difficult dealing with an alcoholic step father, I chose to work full time after school until graduation in 1984, I then entered tradeschool full time until becoming employed as a Heavy Duty mechanic at the boundary bay Airport in Delta B.C., I also started an apprenticeship to repair light aircraft, this company went bankrupt and I moved on to another career. I started work at Layfield Plastics in March 1987, I am still employed there as of this writing in 2019, I have been back to school over the past 30+ years employed with Layfield obtaining a red seal trades certified in Millwright, and as an industrial Electrician, PLC certified Technician, industry recognized designation MMP, maintenance management Professional, Diploma from Simon Fraser University in Project Management, Certified MMP University level instructor.

Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Great research and conclusions on the two Brandel Families near Odessa! Yes, I would agree that the Baden ones are not related to the Alsatian ones. So I think you pinpointed Ignatius's group.
