Hi Diane - a few years ago you added Peter Young as a husband of McLennan-546. This is a bit controversial, most other profiles - including a large number on ancestry from family members, and the Clan Maclennan website - seem to think this was a different Christina. I've linked to those sources and removed Peter as her husband for now, leaving the details in the research note. I don't know if you recall this one, it was a while back, but if you've got any sources for this then feel free to revert this change and please accept my apologies for making it.

Diane, when you are creating NZ profiles, please add New Zealand as birth, death and marriage locations if you are using New Zealand sources. It doesn't matter if you don't know the specific town. It helps to prevent duplicates being created.

Thanks for adding sources and links to profiles but could you please be careful not to remove the formatting for the Section headers and the Reference tags as this interferes with how a profile gets displayed. Others have to spend time going back over these profiles and reformatting the text.

Thanks for taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.

If you will be working with any profiles needing GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, or interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
