Clyde was born in 1925. He was the son of Lillian and Willie Bolton,

He passed away in 2004.

Obituary

Clyde W."TV Man" Bolton, 79, of Pensacola passed away Thursday, December 23, 2004.

Mr. Bolton was a native of Lincoln, Alabama and resided in Pensacola for over 60 years. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Mr. Bolton was one of the original instructors at George Stone Vocational Center and taught Electronics for almost 20 years. He was a 27 year member of American Legion Post 240, the West Pensacola Civitans, and the West Pensacola Fire Department. Mr. Bolton was the owner/operator of Bolton Radio and TV for over 50 years in West Pensacola and later Perdido Bay area. He enjoyed his time at the Baptist Cardiac Rehab and with I.U.D. Group. Mr. Bolton was an avid hunter and loved to fish and play Bingo, everyone he met was a friend and he gave them his full attention.

Mr. Bolton was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Willie Bolton, and daughter, Arla Dee Hill.

Survivors include his 'Sweetheart' of 35 years, Ardith (Sue) Bolton; brother, Henry Bolton (and wife Sarah) of Montgomery, AL; sister, Betty Mills of Birmingham, AL; children, Nancy Nelson of Lineville, AL, Faye Bolton of Sylacauga, AL, Ruth Booker of Pensacola, Patrick A. Moore of Chicago, IL, Sharon Chodnicki of Summerville, SC, and Kenneth Hill; grandchildren, Larry McLain of Mount Pleasant, SC, Jeff McLain of Summerville, SC, Cathy Lovett of Sylacauga, AL, Brad Hill, Starla Hill, Shannon Booker and Robbie Booker all of Pensacola; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday, December 26, 2004 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend (XX) officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

A private burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery.

OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

A special thanks to the Baptist Hospital and staff- especially to the crew on Second Floor East who went to the extra effort to see he was not alone, also to the nurses in SINU. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Manning Hanline, Dr. William Pickens, Dr. Phillip Benton and Dr. Mary Jane Benson for their care and friendship.
