Frederick was born 1706-1707, probably in Marlboro, Monmouth Co., New Jersey. He was the son of John Blaw and Marytje (unknown LNAB). He died in 1793 in Somerset Co., NJ, and is buried in the Blau-Nevius Burying Ground.

An abstract of his father's will dated 1 Sep 1756 Somerset, NJ names children: eldest son John; Antje, widow of Abm Ouke; Janetje wife of John Doxey; Frederick; a step-son or son in law, Henry Sartor who has a son John. Inventory 11 Oct 1757, proved 17 Oct 1757.[2]
