When Violet Blan was born in October 1887 in Georgia, her father, Sam Blan, was 36, and her mother, Susannah, was 22.
She married Stephen Jones on March 16, 1908 in Pike, Alabama, and together they had seven children. They divorced on or before 1920.
Violet lived in Militia District 780, Antinoch Louvale town, ED 50, Stewart, Georgia in 1900.
The 1910 census shows Violet married to Wade Jones living in Darby, Pike, Alabama with two children: William Jones, age 0, born Alabama; and Ollie G. Jones, daughter, age 2, born Alabama; and Sam Blane, lodger, male, age 24, born Georgia, birth year: 1886, divorced (mother born Georgia). Wade was Stephen Jones middle name.
After her divorce, she lived with her father, Sam Blan and her children in Darbys, Pike, Alabama in 1920.
Violet then married Albert "Gator" Spencer on January 4, 1922 in Pike, Alabama.
She died on July 21, 1962, in Troy, Pike, Alabama, at the age of 75, and was buried in Troy, Pike, Alabama.
