Biography

Luke Blakey was born in 1830 in Richland, Stewart Co., Georgia, United States.^[1]

Luke (23) married Kissrah Hastletine Tyler (14) (born on December 19, 1839 in Georgia; daughter of James Wilson Tyler and Sarah Windsor) on October 25, 1854 in Stewart, Georgia. Their son was John William Blakey (1856–1899).

In 1860, Luke was living in Southern District, Webster, Georgia. ^{[2] [3] [4]}

Luke died on September 23, 1863 in Richland, aged 32. He was buried in Cedarwood Cemetery, Richland, Stewart County, Georgia.^{[5] [1]}
