Lillian Blakeman was born on 22 October, 1894 in Louisiana, daughter of George Curtiss Blakeman (~1851–1894) and Mary Victoria Roger (1871–1909).
Lilian (age 34) married Arthur Hebert (age 39) on 7 September 1927 at 6:30 PM. Rev. J. A. Stevens, pastor of the Christian church was the officiant. The wedding was held at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Hayden Huss on South Avenue in Crowley, Louisiana. Arthur Hebert was employed in the Louisiana State rice mill.[1]
In 1900, Lillian Blakeman (age 6) was the stepdaughter of Frank Enderly in Police Jury Ward 1, St. Mary, Louisiana, United States. Her mother, Victoria (age 30) married in 1896 to her second husband, Frank Enderly (age 32). Frank worked as a cooper. He was born in Louisiana, son of German immigrants. Victoria and Frank had a son, Clarens (age 1). Victoria's daughters, Fannie Blakeman (age 8) and Lillian Blakeman (age 6), and her step-son, Louis Blakeman (age 22) lived with them. Louis worked in a sugar house as a day laborer. Her brother-in-law, Eddie Blakeman (age 45), born in New York, lived next door with his wife Delilah Blakeman (age 38), born in South Carolina. Eddie and Delilah were married 19 years. They were the parents of sons, William (age 17), Walter (age 14), Charles (age 12), Forest (age 8), Jessy (age 6), Albert (age 3), and one daughter, Edna (age 1). Eddie worked as a hosler. [2]
In 1910, after the death of their mother in 1909, Fanny Blakeman (age 19) and her sister, Lillian Blakeman (age 16) lived with their half-sister, Ruth Blakeman, (age 23). Ruth and her husband of eight years, Jesse A Wilder (30) in Artesia, Eddy, New Mexico. Jesse and Ruth had one son, Jesse A. Jr. (age 8 months). Jesse rented and worked on a farm. Jesse and Ruth lived next door to Frank Enderle (age 43), the step-father of Ruth's half-sisters, Fanny and Lillian Blakeman.[3]
In 1920, Lillian (age 26) was the single grandchild of Virginia Bonner in St. Mary, Louisiana, United States.[4]
In 1930, Lillian (age 33) lived with her husband of three years, Arthur Hebert (age 46) in Police Jury Ward 6, Acadia, Louisiana, United States. Arthur was a general farmer. They had an adopted daughter, Eden (age 5). Arthur's mother, Nazine Hebert (age 77) lived with them.[5]
In 1940, Lillian (age 44) lived with her husband, of Arthur Hebert (age 56), laborer, in Crowley, Acadia, Louisiana. They rented their home for $6 per month. Lillian had a sixth grade education.[6]

Lillian died on December 31, 1964 in Crowley, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, United States, aged 71. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Crowley, Acadia Parish, Louisiana.[8]
