Biography

US Black Heritage Project
George Blair is a part of US Black heritage.

George was the fourth of 13 children born to William and Harriet Miller Blair.

According to his World War I draft registration, he was employed as a laborer in Youngstown, Ohio and was married with one child. He was described as being tall and thin with black and eyes.

He served in World War I with Company B, 813th Pioneer Infantry Regiment, US ARMY and was discharged as a Private.

He was married Sara who is buried with him.
