N.B. I am removing John Sharp as the husband of Mary Jane Bitener as I think that is a mistake and he is seventeen years younger than she. (Patricia Prickett Hickin , 5 June 2019).
Mary Jane Bitener was born in 1703 in Dublin, Ireland.
In 1718, when she was in her mid-teens, she married William Hamilton. She bore him fifteen known children, including the following son and two daughters:
William and Mary Hamilton were my 7th Great - Grandparents. (Mildred Guilbeau, 12 October 2016).
William Hamilton and Mary Jane Bitener are my 5th great-grandparents. Their daughter, Jane Hamilton, married my 4th great-grandfather, John Anderson Sharp Sr. in 1740. James Franklin Haynes, August, 2020.

Mary Jane Bitener
Birth: c1703, Dublin, Dublin, Ireland; Death circa1788 in Washington, County, Province of Pennsylvania.
Parents: Unknown. Some researchers think that they may have been Christopher Graham (Graemme) (1670–1746) and Margaret Florence Risk (1680–1763). This is probably unlikely since she has a different surname.
Marriage: 1718, Ireland: William Hamilton (1700–1786).
Possible arrival: 1746, Philadelphia, Province of Pennsylvania. This is probably incorrect since records indicate that her daughter, Jane Hamilton, was born much earlier in colonial Virginia.
Residence: 11 May 1786, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Quaker meeting record cited does not show that she and her husband lived in Bucks County, only that the meeting was held there. Records show that her husband, William Hamilton, died on June 2, 1786 in Washington County, Province of Pennsylvania.
Death: c 1788, Washington County, Province of Pennsylvania.
Mary Jane Bitener and her husband, William Hamilton, were buried in the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. A search conducted by Find A Grave volunteer, Joe #48518054, found no grave site or grave marker for them. I requested that the Find A Grave Index citation for her death date be changed from 1814 to circa 1788, which is only a reasoned guess. They agreed and made the requested change. Many people have used the date of 1814 as her death date, which is highly improbable since she is not listed in the Guinness World Records. The birth and death dates for William Hamilton found in the Find A Grave Index are correct, based on
established sources. James F. Haynes.
