Biography
Albert was born about 1845. He was the son of Robert Bishop and Hannah Bantem. Albert, son of Robert Bishop & Hannah, was baptised on 20 July 1845 in Upper Clatford, Hampshire, England.[1].
In the 1851 census Albert (age 6) was the son of Robert Bishop in Providence Place, Millbrook, Hampshire, England.[2].
On 28/4/1853 he arrived at Fremantle aboard the "Palestine" with his parents and two siblings[3][4][5].
He passed away in 1896[6]. Albert was mentioned on a memorial in Serpentine Cemetery, Serpentine, Serpentine-Jarrahdale Shire, Western Australia, Australia with a death date of 14 Sep 1896[4].
DEATH FROM PNEUMONIA.—Mr. Albert Bishop, a respected resident of the Serpentine, died at his residence, Eaglefield recently. Mr. Bishop had just struggled through an attack of typhoid, when he succumbed to pneumonia[7].
