John, son of John & Sarah, was baptised on 15 October 1797 in St Michael, Highgate, Camden, Middlesex, England.^[1] Maybe Middlesex, where his son was born.

Who was his spouse in his first marriage? His birth must have been well before 1797 as that would make him 18 on his second marriage.

Second Marriage John, a widower and Sarah Wilkinson had the Banns read in readiness for their marriage on 13 September 1812 in Saint Giles Cripplegate, City of London, England.^[2] From the Banns Register;

Possibly the father of Thomas Bishop born 11 Nov 1812 in St Pancras. A couple of miles from Cripplegate.

From Bishops Transcripts: John Bishop and Mary Cofield both of this Parish were married after Banns on 11 April 1818 in St James, Piccadilly, Westminster, England. Both signed witnessed by John Weskett and Rich Wyatt. ^[6] Thomas died on 21 January 1859 and was buried in Islington and St Pancras Cemetery, East Finchley, London Borough of Barnet, Greater London, England.^[7]
