Biography

Thomas Bishop Occupation Baker

Of the many Thomas Bishops married to Mary they had to be separated by his profession as a baker but which one grows up to be one. Is he the son of Benjamin or Thomas or John?
Benjamin Thomas the son of Benjamin and Mary was baptised September 25, 1803 doesnt seem likely as a candidate. In 1841 when Thomas was described as 30, he would have been almost 40.

Most Likely Thomas, son of John Bishop & Sarah Bishop, was born on the 11th November 1812 then baptised on 6 December 1812 at St Pancras Old Church, Camden, Middlesex, England. Transcribed from Register: Thomas, born November 11th, son of John Bishop & Sarah Bishop, was baptised on 6 December 1812 at St Pancras Old Church, Camden, Middlesex, England. [1]

Or Thomas, son of Thomas Bishop & Sarah Bishop, was baptised on 29 March 1812 in St Ann Blackfriars, City of London, London, England.[2]

Thomas and wife Mary Ann/Maria have a five year age gap which may help determine the correct couple.

Thomas Bishop and Maria Ive bishop of this Parish had Banns read in St Annes, Soho, London, London, on 26 January 1834. Thomas married Maria Ive on 26 January 1834 in St Anne, Soho, London, England.[3] (Transcript)1834 Register of St Anne Soho London, Middlesex Page 180 Entry 538 Thomas Bishop of this Parish and Maria Ive of this Parish were married by Banns on 10th February 1834 by Geoff H Hine Curate Thomas Bishop made his mark Maria signed in the presence of John Ive and Ann Bishop [4]
