Harry was the son of Charles and Emma F. (Smith) Binns. He was born in Maroa, Illinois, in 1879. Harry married Grace "Mattie" Diss on October 12, 1908. Their children were Cecil, Ethel, Russell, Delmar, Robert, Herschel, Milton, and Richard.
