Global Reunion: Not sure if Isaac is related, but I have a strong suspicion he is.
The 1900 US Census record shows Isaac shows his occupation is as a bookkeeper. He and Helena had been married for 32 years. It shows that Helena has had 3 children and only one living - Teresa, born in September, 1880 in Colorado. Helena is 20 years younger than Isaac, born in February, 1848.
Isaac emigrated in 1848 and Helena in 1860.
In the "New York, New York City Births, 1846-1909," database Helena is listed as Halena Richter, the mother, and Isaac Billeg as the father of a daughter, Alice Florence, born on March 3, 1886. In the "New York, New York City Municipal Deaths, 1795-1949," database Alice Florence death is recorded as occurring on July 7, 1886. Her parents are listed as Helena and Isaac Billig.
