Just wanted to let you know that I connected my profile for Avis Ellen (White) Mortal (1926-1993) to your profile for her father Edwin Payne White (1889-1973). I also added in his marriage and death information (with citations), and I'll probably be adding a profile for his wife in the near future.
Kind regards,
Vicky Majewski
I have attempted to private message you but unfortunately the private message box isn't displaying correctly on my computer and cannot be moved to submit my message to you. In relation to the profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Green-49004 I believe I have some information that may assist with more details in relation to this ancestry line. I am new to this site so unsure on weather to create what i have from scratch or its best to have relevant info add it to an existing entry. Hope to hear from you. M
Just add what you can when you can to existing profiles is usually best but start a new entry if needed.
Regarding the profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Phipps-3155 thank you for adding me to the TL. is it possible to evaluate his parentage?
His parents are too old and mother aged 68 when he was born.
Kind regards
David

Elanor's death certificate shows Elanor Mary Heffernan as her mother. Her birth date is shown as 1825.
I am hoping to find ancestors of James Heffernan, the roofer and tiler who came to Australia on the infamous fever ship, the" Lady McNaughten" and details of his marriages. Can you help Steve? Perhaps there are details of the Australian Heffernans that i can help you with. Take care and stay safe, Nan Bosler

This is a courtesy e-mail to see how things are going. Are you enjoying WikiTree so far? Have the tips in the New Member How-Tos been helpful?
Please do let me know if you have any questions, even if they seem silly to you. My rule of thumb when I started was to search for an answer for five minutes, then reach out to my Greeters, and then resume searching. I might have found the answer before they got back with me but they sometimes offered a different way of doing the same thing which was easier. We are always here to help.

P.S. Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? They also control the information which is included in the activity reports which you receive from WikiTree. You can add more, up to 20 total, or delete some if you are receiving irrelevant information.
P.P.S. We have a research tool that makes finding reliable sources easier. I use it all the time and it helps me remember different places to check. To give it a try, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research, scroll down near the bottom of that list, and select Research with RootsSearch (use your WikiTree email & password). There are over 20 websites to access from there. You can read more about the tool in the RootsSearch FAQ.
I am pleased to confirm and welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site
Happy tree climbing
