Biography

Louis was born in June 1874 in Ohio[1][2]. He was the son of John Benore and Susan Petee. [3]

enlisted in the United States Army on 12 July 1899 and served as a Corporal. He was discharged on 3 Apr 1901.[4] His address was listed as 502 N. Henry Street, Bay City. Michigan, United States.

He was serving in Tayabas Province 30th Infantry, ED 183, Philippines at the time of the 1900 United States census.[1]

He married Mary R. Newcomb on 22 Apr 1901 in Bay Port, Huron, Michigan.[3]

He was living with his family at 322 Marquette St, West Bay CIty, Michigan at the time of the 1910 United States Census.[5] He was working in his own barber shop.
