Sikeston - Funeral Mass for Ray Edward Baudendistel of rural Sikeston will be held Thursday at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery with military graveside rites. Mr. Baudendistel, 50, died Monday, June 21, 1999, of an apparent heart attack while working in Lilbourn. He was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Cairo, Ill., son of Frank Joseph and Beatrice Renaud Baudendistel. He and Doris Carr were married Aug. 18, 1986. He had lived in Scott and Mississippi Counties all his life. He was a graduate of St. Henry's High School. He was a service troubleman with AmerenUE. He was a member of St. Henry's Church and VFW Post 4294. He served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Billy Baudendistel, Michael Cain and Jerry Cain, a daughter, Jeanne Scheffel; his mother, a sister, Barbara Whiteside; and eight grandchildren.
