Florence was born on 10 November 1906 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of Calvin Ransom Baucom and Sarah Alice (Scott) Baucom.[1][2]

In 1920 Florence was living in Mineral Springs, Richmond, North Carolina, USA - Marital Status: SingleRelation to Head of House: Daughter.[4]

In 1930 Florence was living in Rockingham, Richmond, North Carolina, USA - Marital Status: SingleRelation to Head of House: Daughter.[5]

When Florence was 27 she married William Archibald Mcaulay on 6 August 1934 in Richmond, North Carolina, United States.[1]

In 1935 Florence was living in rural Richmond County, North Carolina.[6]

On 1 April 1940 Florence was living in Rockingham, Richmond County, North Carolina, USA - Marital Status: Married Relation to Head of House: Wife.[6]

In the 1950 census Florence Baucom (age 40), Legal Secretary, was the wife of William A McAulay in Rockingham, Richmond, North Carolina, United States.[7]

In 1959 Florence was living in Rockingham, North Carolina.[8]

At the time of Florence's death on 25 October 1974, she was still living in Rockingham, Richmond County, North Carolina. She died at the age of 67 in Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina.[2][9] She was buried in Eastside Cemetery, Rockingham, Richmond County, North Carolina.[10]
