Biography

Ernest was born in 1930,[1][2][3][4] the oldest of two sons to William Carlos Barton and Grace Lee Ouzts.[5][6] His sibling was Albert Lee;[7] and his younger half-siblings were: Living, John Brown Jr, Living, and Living.[8]

He married Eloise Spires, daughter of Emitt Eason Spires and Bessie Lue Hughes, on 6 Jul 1949.[11] He was about 18 years old. They divorced on 19 Oct 1959 in Crittenden County, Arkansas.[11] They had 5 children together.[12]

He remarried to Rose Ann Thobe, daughter of Russell Alanzo Thobe and Rose Palmer, on 24 Nov 1975 in Midland County, Texas.[14] He was 45 years old.

Ernest passed away in 2001 at the age of 70.[1][2][3][4][6][8]
