Anthony Bartee was born before 1735, son of Arderegan Bartee (before 1710–before 1749).

On 27 Oct 1792 "being sick and weak in body", Anthony created his last will and testament (codicil on the 28th).^[1] Shortly afterwards he passed away and his estate was inventoried on 20 November 1792. ^[2] His name appears as W. Anthony Bartee on the cover to his last will and testament. However, the initial "W" does not appear within the body of the will or in his signature. It has not been found elsewhere with his name and therefore confirmation should be found before adding it to his profile name.
