Alexander Grant Barry was born on August 23, 1892 in Astoria, Oregon, United States, son of William John Barry (1854– ) and Margaret Grant (1867–1958).
Alexander married Phyllis Louise Gallien (born on October 12, 1896 in Oregon; daughter of Charles L. Gallien and Carrie (Burton) Gallien).
Alexander died on December 28, 1952 in Portland, Oregon, aged 60. He was buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.[1]
