Mehitable Barrow was born about 1674, daughter of Robert and Ruth (Bonum) Barrow. [1][2][3]
She married Adam Wright as his second wife, probably around 1699. [1][4] Adam Wright was born c 1645, son of Richard and Hester (Cooke) Wright. [2][5][3]
They resided in Plymouth and Plympton (now Carver), Massachusetts. [1]
Her father Robert Barrow's will was written December 9, 1707, with a codicil added on December 19, 1707. He mentions:
wife Lydia appointed executrix
sons Robert, Thomas, and Elisha
children of my first wife who have already received their portions[6][2]
On June 20, 1707, George Barrow, Adam Wright and wife Mehitable Wright, testified that they had received their portions of the the estate of their father Robert Barrow from their mother-in-law, widow Lydia Barrow. [6][4][2][5]
Her husband Adam died at Plympton on September 20, 1724. [2][3] Mehitable was executor of his estate, and on November 2, 1724, signed his estate inventory, attesting to it's accuracy. [7][8][5]
Adam Wright's will was written on April 9, 1723. In it he names his current wife, children from both his marriages and some grandchildren: [8]

On December 13, 1744, Mehitable married Deacon John Washburn [9], as his third wife at Kingston. He was born c 1672, son of Philip and Elizabeth (Irish) Washburn. [2]
There were no children of this marriage and the Deacon died June 17, 1750 in his 79th year and was buried in the Old Burying Ground, in Kingston. [2]
Widow Mehitable Washburn of Kingston died in 1754.
Probate
Her son Samuel Wright, the administrator of her estate, provided bond of L200 on August 23, 1754. [10][11][12]
Her inventory was taken on 9 September 1754 in Kingston.[13]
In 1754, an estate account was recorded which included debts and funeral costs.[14]

Samuel born c 1700; died in his 74th year on January 5, 1733 at Plympton; married Anna Tillson on August 2, 1722. [15][3]
Moses born c 1703; married Thankful Boals of Bridgewater, intentions published on January 22, 1733. [3][15]?He died in 1740.
James born between 1705-10; married Elizabeth Waterman at Plympton on November 17, 1731 [15]; died after May 1791, when he sold deeds to his sons. [16][3]
Nathan born c May 12, 1711 [15]; married Hannah Cooke at Kingston on December 7, 1736. [9][3]?He died April 7, 1762.
