Biography

Julienne Barre, daughter of Jean Barre and Marie Louise Lavergne was born about 1750[1] and baptized on 26 September 1753 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Destrehan, Louisiana.[2]

She married Louis Latiolais on 16 June 1769.[3]

Known children of Louis and Julienne:

  1. Jean, married Victorie Robichot.[4]
  2. Marie Louise, married Michael Comeaux on 3 Dec. 1800.[5]
  3. Luffroy, married Josephine Daigle 13 Feb. 1811.[6]
  4. Constance, married Antoine Baptiste Fontenot.[7]
  5. Marie Josephe, married PIerre Nezat 29 Aug. 1814.[8]

Julienne died on 7 September 1816 at her home at la Fausse Pointe, Louisiana, and was buried in the parish cemetery in St. Martinville.[1]
