Note: Alfred William was a carpenter by trade and built several houses at Doonside while he lived in Australia. After he and Lilian separated he went back to New Zealand on a working holiday, where. he died. His brother Horace Walter was called to identify the body. He was listed as a farmer in 1923 in. Griffiths NSW. He was in Griffiths with his family from 1919 till 1924. He was listed on 1936 electoral roll at Monash Rd Doonside as a carpenter. Alfred married Lillian 14 months after her arrival in NSW from England.

Buried 6 MAY 1939. Masterton, Wairarapa, New Zealand. ^[5][6]
