This profile is part of the Barbot Name Study.
Marie Barbot, the widow of Abel Prousteau who was a merchant when alive, was buried on 1 June 1677. Marie was aged 54 when she died the preceding day, which means she was born 1622/23. The witnesses at her burial were her brother Jaques Barbot and Gabriel Mollé her nephew. All living in St Martin. The signature of Jaques Barbot is distinctive. [1]
