Biography

Elizabeth was born on 16 April 1700 in the Steyning area of Sussex, England. She was a daughter of Edward Barber and Elizabeth Beard. Her parents were both members of prominent Quaker families. At the time of Elizabeth's birth, they lived in the village of Henfield.

Sadly, Elizabeth didn't live to adulthood. She died, aged fifteen, on 11 May 1715. Her death was recorded by the Arundel meeting of the Lewes and Chichester Quakers.
