Research Notes
Of Joseph Baldwin's will, C. C. Baldwin writes, The selectmen objected to the will, on the ground that one of the children (Ebenezer) was from childhood deprived of his eyesight in a great measure, and had no sufficient provision. His son Joseph was named his executor, but could not qualify, on account of his age, until Dec. 10, 1750."[3]
