Henry Baldwin was born about 1765, probably in Frederick county, Virginia, but other references show Pennsylvania. His parents were Henry Baldwin and Margaret.[1][2]
He married Susannah Maulsby on October 21, 1790 in Frederick county, Virginia. They had eight children.[1][2]
Henry Baldwin was born on November 3, 1804 in Union County, Tennessee.
Susannah Baldwin was born on February 10, 1807 in Union County, Tennessee.
Caleb Baldwin, died in infancy.
Henry lived in New Garden, North Carolina and later in Union County, Tennessee in a farm three miles southwest of the Meeting House at Lost Creek. His children attended school in Knox County, Tennessee. He was a farmer and also had a hatter shop.[2]
Henry died in about 1814 in Tennessee. His widow Susanna moved in with her daughters in Indiana and then remarried.[2][3]

His son's census record shows that both Henry and his wife were born in Pennsylvania.
