Birth and Parents

Mark Baldwin was born in Illinois.

Marc (alias Jim), the fifth of seven children of Frank Baldwin and Louise Rathgeber was born on 23 April 1926 at Chicago, Illinois.^[1]

WWII Military Service

Jim, served as a Private with the US Marine Corps and was wounded on Iwo Jima.^[2][3]

Marriage and Children

Jim married Betty Jane Hoft (1927-2022) around 1947. He and Betty ran the Lamplighter Bar and Restaurant in Germantown, Wisconsin for many years. They had five children born at Wisconsin.

Death and Burial

Mark James Baldwin died on 11 August 1992 in his 66th year at Colgate. ^[4][5]He is buried at the Clement Zablocki Veterans Administration Hospital Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.^[6]
