Biography

Pasquale Baglio is born around 1858 in Corleone, the son of Ignacio Baglio and Maria Paternostro.

Pasquale marries Maria Antonia Oliveri on 14 October 1883. His mother has died by this time.[1]

Pasquale and Maria Antonia have four known children: two sons named Ignazio (1886 and 1888), Giuseppa (c. 1887), and Biagia (1890).

The first son named Ignacio dies at five days of age on 20 December 1886.

That Pasquale and his family have immigrated to New Orleans for some time and returned is known from the marriage record of their daughter, Giuseppa, which states that she was born there and has been a resident of Corleone since childhood.

The second son named Ignacio is born 25 December 1888 and baptized Ignatius the next day. His godparents are Calogero Bosco and Carmela Trombaturi. He dies at two months and six days of age on 3 March 1889.

Biagia dies at 21 days of age (b. 21 May) on 11 June 1890.

Pasquale dies at age 39 (b. 1858) on 17 April 1897. His father and his wife survive him.

Maria Antonia remarries in 1904.

Giuseppa marries Francesco Paolo Vernagallo on 20 October 1907.[2]
