Biography
Ellis William Bacon was born on 26 April 1874 in Philadelphia[1]. He was the son of Thomas Bacon and Annie Ellis.
Ellis was vice president at the publishing firm of J.B. Lippincott. He left the "Bacon cane" to his oldest son, Thomas.
Ancestor of noted actor, Kevin Bacon.[2]
