Henry served in the 26th Connecticut Infantry during the Civil War. He was wounded on 13 Jun 1863 in Port Hudson, Louisiana and was discharged from service 3 days later. [2]
After the war, he married Josephine Barber. [3] Their children were:
They lived in Stonington, New London, Connecticut. [5] Henry passed away in 1889 and is buried in Alfred Rural Cemetery, Alfred, Allegany County, New York[6]
