Whose son was the elder David Ayres and who was his first wife? He had two children by his first wife, David and Sarah. The latter married Moses Clark of Hadley, Mass., and later lived in Stamford, Vt., and in Wilmington, Vt., and ended her days in Guilford, NY. The second wife of the elder David Ayres is said to be a Porter - called in the family "Lady" Porter. Is this the David Ayres asked for by L.A. A.
