Harriett Atkins migrated from England to Michigan.
The daughter of George Atkins Sr and Emily (Hurst) Atkins, Harriett Atkins was born in Pancras, England on November 5, 1866,[1] being christened at St. Pancras Old Church on November 4, 1867.[2] She lived with her family on Grays Inn Lane in St. Pancras,[3] later immigrating with them to the United States, taking up residence together in Lansing, Michigan.[4]
After the death of her father in 1891, Harriett lived in Lansing with her mother.[5][6] After the death of her mother in 1926, Harriett's household, in 1930, included her brother and his second wife.[7]
Harriett Atkins passed away in Bay City, Michigan at the age of 81[8] and is buried with her parents at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan.[9]
