Biography
Thomas was born in 1837 in Somerset, England. He was the son of John Ashford and Elizabeth Tanner. [1]
The family immigrated to the United States in 1858 and settled in Rockford, Illinois.
In 1860 he worked in the home of Warren White. [2]
He never married.
Thomas passed away in 1914. [3]
