Research Notes

His birth record states 12 April 1880; however, the 1880 census gives his age as 11 months, with a birth month of May, which would be May 1879. The birth record is a typed ledger, obviously retyped long after the event. There is a possibility that the birth record is incorrect, and Norman's birth was in 1879.
