1900 US Census The Armstrong family had moved from Mabel's birthplace in Iowa to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mabel was just 9 months when the census was taken in June so she didn't know she was living with her mother, father, 4 half siblings, a brother and her grandma Nancy Box, 65.[2]
1910 US Census Mabel, age 10, her parents Otis W, 41, and Jennie Armstrong, 46 and her 2 brothers and a sister were living in Hampton, Iowa in 1910. Her father and older brother, Ernest, 14, were Farm Laborers, and her mother was a Laundress.[3]
Miss Mabel Armstrong, age 19, of Olathe, Kansas, the daughter of Otis and Jenny Armstrong, was married to Mr Leonard Tucker, 22, a Farmer of Franklin County, Iowa on 23 July, 1919, at Hampton, Iowa.[4]

1920 US Census Mabel, age 20, and her husband Leonard, 22, a Farmer, were living on a farm in Ingham Township, Franklin County, Iowa.[6]
The Tuckers were Farmers. Mabel and Leonard farmed in Ingham Township, near Hansell, Iowa for 30 years.They then moved to Waterloo, Iowa for work in 1949.
1950 US Census Mabel, 50, was living in Waterloo with her husband Leonard, 53, son Howard, 27, his wife Nancy and their son Jay D, 6 months. Leonard and Howard were working as Hog Killers at a meat packing company[7]
Mabel Irene Tucker, age 74, passed away 9 June 1974 at Waterloo, Blackhawk, Iowa. She was survived by her husband Leonard and their 5 children.
Burial Mabel Irene (Armstrong) Tucker was buried at Harlan Cemetery, Dumont, Butler, Iowa [8]
