Biography
William John Armstead was born in 1858 in Chilwell, Victoria, Australia, the son of Mary (Widdop) Armstead and William Armstead.[1]
He married Mary Wakefield in 1882 in Victoria.[2] Their children were:
- Frederick Edward Armstead (1883–1958)[3]
- Annie Elsie Armstead (1885–?)[4]
- James Henry Armstead (1887–1955)[5]
- William Ernest Armstead (1894–?)[6]
William died in 1920 in Murrumbeena, Victoria, aged 62 years.[7]
