Vol 13 page 57, 1969 of The Virginia Genealogist it states that Elizabeth A Armistead married in Cumberland 25 Feb 1793 (bond) Robert Ransone; Jacob L Abrahams posted surety. In 1827 Elizabeth Ransone, widow of Robert, being a daughter of Francis Armistead deceased ..." Francis Armistead and Hannah Price were married on 10 May 1776 in Cumberland Co (page 56) . Francis was the son of John Armistead and Hannah Harrison. Hope this helps, Joan
