Hello Scott,

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!

Scott, Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the Help section or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, Patt

I began working on my families' tree in 2011 trying to track the lineage of my grandfather Samuel Francis Hudelson Jr who was adopted at birth by Samuel francis Hudelson Sr in Santa Fe, New Mexico 1920. I have submitted DNA tests to NatGeo Geographic 2.0 and transferred results to familytree DNA. I am also awaiting results from a Ancestry.com DNA test submitted March 2015. Looking forward to learning more of my actual and adopted family lineages.

Welcome! As a guest you are encouraged to explore. Our Help pages (upper right) are full of valuable information. The Help Index, Intro to WikiTree, and our G2G forum will answer a lot of your questions. And please, don't hesitate to ask your own questions in G2G.
