Biography
Robert Armistead is a part of US Black heritage.
In 1870 Robt L Amistead (age 3 months) lived in Buffalo, Prince Edward County, Virginia with his father Sam (67, Farm Labour), mother Miranda (52, Keeping House), and four siblings: Jane (26), Scott (13), Paul (10), and Ida (4) - Robert was born in Virginia, his race was black.[1]
In 1880 Lee Armstead (age 10, Works on Farm) lived in Buffalo with his father Sam (60), mother Marinda (55, Keeping House), and six siblings & niblings: Jane (36, Labourer), Paul (20, Labourer), Idar (17, Work on Farm), Julia (8), Eddy (7), and Courtney (4).[2]
