Jemmiree Armistead Hinton, age 82, a retired co-owner of Hinton's Machine Shop, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2003 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Fl. Mrs. Hinton was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Cocoa Florida in 1959. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cocoa, Mrs. Hinton was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1997. She is survived by three loving children, her son, Richard Max of Cocoa; daughter, Janice (Edward) Grant of Charleston, SC; son, Gene (Kim) Hinton, Rockledge, FL; four grandchildren, Mark, Jay, Jeremy and Garrett and one great grandson, Noah. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 31 at Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church with interment services to follow in the church cemetery.
