Origin

Frances was born c. 1642 at Gloucester County, Virginia, the daughter of William Armistead[1] and his wife Ann Unknown.[2] Frances was also the sister of John Armistead.

Marriages

Frances married three times.

  • She married, as her 1st, to Justinian Alymer (bpt 14 Nov 1637, d before 12 Aug 1666), a son of Justinian and Joane (Wilmot) Alymer.[1][3]
  • She married, as her 2nd, to Anthony Elliott.[3] He died between 12 August 1666 and 9 January 1666/7.[3]
