Ellen Arden was born in about 1779 in Lancashire.
Ellen married John Adamson on 28 Mar 1803 at Farnworth Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. John was a miner, Ellen a spinster. Both were of Farnworth near Prescot. The witnesses were Peter Shaw and Thomas Shaw.
Their presumed son Thomas was born in about 1818 in Lancashire.
Their presumed daughter Ellen was born in about 1820 in St Helens, Lancashire.
Ellen (senior) died in 1843 in St Helens, aged 64.
