Biography

Susan was born born on 10 May 1942 [1] in Canton, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Thomas Andrus and Elizabeth Beardsley. [2][3]

On the 1850 census, Susan was enumerated with her parents and siblings in Canton, Bradford, Pennsylvania, United States.[4]

Susan continued to live with her parent in Canton Township, Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1860. [5]

Susan married Alfred C. Kendall on 12 October 1862 in Canton, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.[6][7]

Susan and Alfred had the following children:

  2. Carrie Elizabeth (Kendall) Gould b. 29 June 1870 Canton, PA; m. Alfred C. Kendall

In 1870, Susan and A. C. Kendall were living with their son, Andrew, age 5, in Canton Township, Bradford, Pennsylvania, United States.[8]

In 1880, Susan and Alfred are in Canton Township, Bradford, Pennsylvania[10]

On 17 May 1882, Susan and Alfred along with their children, Carrie, Guy, and Monroe were living in Tipton, Cass County, Nebraska.[11]

At the birth of their son Chester on 28 June 1882, Alfred and Susan were living in Eagle, Cass County, Nebraska.[12]

Susan passed away on the Long Pine Valley Farm, Rock County, Nebraska, 2 January 1892 due to food poisoning from eating oyster stew.[13]

Susan is buried in Bassett Memorial Park, Bassett, Rock County, Nebraska, USA.[14]
