John Andreas (son of Martin Andreas Jr. And Anna Maria Reber) born in 1790 married Elisabeth Rex on 13 September 1813.

Please do not confuse this John Andreas 1790 with some of the many other John Andreas cousins born between 1760 to 1820 who married other wives! I have posted many life sketches as I can find to help distinguish the different "John Andreas Cousins" as there were many especially during the 1760 - 1820 timeframe! We are related to this John Andreas who married Elisabeth Rex and had another son named John Rex Andreas in 1822. That John R Andreas married Mary Ann Collar and moved to Medina, Ohio when he was 21 years old. Then later on he moved to Wood County, Ohio. He was the father of Amelia Andreas who married Robert A. Housholder of Bowling Green, Ohio. Attached to John R. Andreas is a short story of his family in Wood County Ohio.

PLEASE NOTE: There are also other Andreas family members that moved to Tuscarawas, Ohio, that are cousins of John Peter Andreas 1751 (one of Martin Andreas 1730 Sr's sons.) As well as, a couple other brothers. John Peter Jr 1786 fought for Ohio in the War of 1812. Was one of these Tuscarawas, Ohio Andreas cousins. Some from this group also migrated into Illinois.

Before doing any merges here at FamilySearch please research your John's carefully! I have deleted hours worth of files that were a part of this Andreas tree that were incorrectly merged without doing due diligence research. I hope the results are as correct as possible, and a special thanks to all who have contributed to the hours of Andreas Family History research that came before. If any of you have pictures of this very interesting family please share them :) - Gary Housholder
