Biography
Martha Melinda was the youngest child of William and Nancy. She moved with the family from Panola County, MS after the Civil War to Franklin County, AR. There she married Jeremiah Alexander James. They lived there through the 1880 census but by 1900 had moved to Texas. She outlived all of her siblings and husband.
