John Anderson[1][2][3] was born on the 4th of Apr 1741,[3][4] in Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey.[1][2][3] He was the son of James and Catherine Anderson. John married Anna Lloyd on the 7th of March 1763 in Middlesex County, New Jersey.[1][2]

John was a Captain in New Jersey during the American Revolution.[4][3]
