Biography
Henrietta "Etta" Alden was the daughter of Charles Alden and Susan E, (Peterson) Alden.[1] Her death record says that she was born at Canton, Maine, and her age at her death computes to a birth date of about 24 Aug 1855.[2] In 1860 and 1870, she was living in her parents' household at Livermore, Maine, at 5 and 14 years old,[3][4] and in 1880 in their household at Canton, at 24 years old.[5]
Etta Alden married Henry M. Perkins.[1] They lived at Salem, Massachusetts, where she was a music teacher.[2]
Etta (Alden) Perkins died of cancer of the stomach at Salem, Massachusetts, on 29 May 1896, at the reported age of 40 years, 9 months, 5 days.[2]
