WEDDING REPORT. MATRIMONIAL.—We have bean supplied with the following clipping from the "West Australian":—A pretty wedding was celebrated on Thursday afternoon, the 5th inst., at the Roman Catholic Cathedral, Perth, the contracting parties being Miss Maude Marian Aitchison, second daughter of Mr. J. Glogue Aitchison. of Perth, and granddaughter of the late Mr. Francis Fraser Armstrong, one of the oldest poineers of Western Australia, and Mr. Thomas Anthony Dudley, second son of Mr. George Dudley, of Narraooorte, South Australia. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Smyth. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr. H. V. Sampson, Mr, John O'Dea acting as best man. The bride looked charming in a gown of white silk voile, the bodice was prettily trimmed with white silk net, and pearl lace. She also wore a handsomeiy-worked bridal veil over a coronet wreath of orange blossom, carrying a lovely bouquet of choice white roses and fern (the gift of the bridegroom). The bridesmaids were the Misses May and Eva Aitchison, sisters of the bride, who looked exceedingly well in gowns of cream satin cloth, trimmed with old lace and silk medallions, the costumes being completed by pretty black picture hats. They carried pretty bouquets of white roses and fern, the gift of the bridegroom. After the ceremony the wedding party drove to the Oddfellows' Hall, Leederville, where a large number of friends sat down to a recherche breakfast. The usual toasts having been proposed and responded to, dancing and vocal and instrumental music were indulged in, Mr. and Mrs. Dudley leaving at 10 o'clock for Guildford. The bride travelled in a green voile costume, with a pretty picture hat. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a gold initialled cross, and the bridegroom's present to the bride was a beautiful gold watch with initials engraved on it. The bridesmaids' presents consisted of gold brooches, with their names engraved on them. Numerous presents were received.
